Veteran Sprint Car driver, Troy Cline, will begin his stockcar racing career at Phoenix International Raceway Saturday, March 18, 2000. Cline, a multi-time race winner in Sprint Cars, has tallied up over 70 top five finishes, along with more than 400 laps lead in the past seven years while racing his Haas CNC backed Sprint Car.
Oxnard, California based Haas Automation, Inc., America's leading CNC machine tool maker, will continue to be the primary sponsor of the C&C Motorsports owned Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the NASCAR Winston West series for 2000.
Cline and his partner, Joe Custer, along with the rest of the Haas CNC/C&C Motorsports Team plan to race the full NASCAR Winston West schedule as well as selected USAC pavement and SCRA dirt Sprint Car races.
Already a race winner in 2000, Cline hopes to bring home the NASCAR Winston West Rookie of the Year title.![]()
