
ATLANTA, Georgia -- Leilani Münter will be spending three days training at Atlanta Motor Speedway in an ARCA car with Andy Hillenburg of Fast Track High Performance Driving School, the official driving school of ARCA. Following her training in Atlanta, Münter will be qualified to compete in the ARCA RE/MAX Series.
ARCA is now in its sixth decade of competition and is recognized among the leading sanctioning bodies in the country. The ARCA RE/MAX Series is known for being a feeder series into NASCAR Winston Cup. Typically two-thirds to three-quarters of the starting field at any given Winston Cup event have ARCA experience. Many ARCA RE/MAX racecars are former or current NASCAR Winston Cup machines.
The new television series Livin' Large will be documenting Münter's progress in Atlanta. Livin' Large profiles people who live the phrase "It's not about the quantity of life; it's about the quality of life." Other segments feature N'Sync, Shaquille O'Neal and Helio Castroneves.
