TIM WOODS III RETURNS TO MESA MARIN

Tim Woods III, driver of the #54 "Nellyville"/Vokal Ford Taurus is looking for a good showing in this weekend's Southwest Tour race, the "1-800CLEANUP 150" in Mesa Marin. This will be Woods' second appearance this year in the Southwest Tour Series, he competed in the Irwindale race in August and came in 13th. Woods, a regular in the Winston West Series, will drive and compete at every opportunity that he can. "I am a competitor and I love to race." says Woods.

The #54 Ford Taurus is being sponsored by Universal Records' #1 recording artist "Nelly" and his apparel company "Vokal." Nelly's latest cd release, "Nellyville" is on the hood of the #54. "I am really excited about this race. I have a good car and a great sponsor on board. Nelly, his management "Team Lunatics" and Vokal have been very supportive of my racing career. I'd like to give them a good showing as well as a good show for the fans in Mesa." said Woods.

Next up for Woods, is this year's last Super Late Model race, the "Jani-King 200" in Irwindale Speedway on October 26th. Woods, who is looking to jump to either the Craftsman Truck and/or Busch Series for 2003, is looking for a strong finish for '02.
