LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Excitement is the mood as Las Vegas-based QuikTime Racing heads to Bakersfield, Calif. for their debut in the NASCAR Featherlite Southwest Series this Saturday, October 20, 2002. Driver Darren Michels eagerly awaits his opportunity to qualify for a top spot in the No. 07 Q Motorsports/Star Nursery Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the “1-800-CLEANUP 150.”
“We had a great practice session last Friday,” said Darren Michels. “Our times were right there. I think we‘ll have a good showing on Saturday.”
NASCAR’s Featherlite Southwest Series is an exciting, fan-friendly division, one of eight touring series in the nation. Highly competitive, there are over 40 entries for this weekend’s event.
