COVINA, California -- No. 91 Mechanix Wear Speed Truck Challenge 2002 Rookie of the Year, Lee Hatch took home another victory of the season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday night. Hatch qualified on pole with a new track record of 16.204. When the green flag dropped, Hatch took the lead and never looked back leading the entire 200 laps of the race.
“ We tested here Thursday and Friday and we worked hard on perfecting the truck, said Lee Hatch. “This allowed us to fine tune our qualifying and race setup for this 200 lap main event.”

A tremendous rookie season. Hatch not only won Rookie of the Year honors he came in second in the points race, only trailing the winner Randy Brown by 18 points. With an impressive season of 15 top five’s with four wins; the BHRM Motorsport Team’s hard work has paid off.
“Words can’t describe how excited I am right now. This is my first win at this track and being the final race of the season that makes it feel that much better, said Hatch.” My team and I worked so hard to prepare the truck for this race, my Dad worked many hours to help our team financially all year, I just want to thank everyone for believing in me and making my dream of racing possible.”
The BHRM Motorsports team will prepare for the next season in the Mechanix Wear Speed Truck Challenge. Hatch, an eight-time Grand National Champion in Karting, looks forward to furthering his racing career in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in the near future.
