What do you like most about the Winston West Series?
Exciting new tracks that are close to home make it good, but I really like these cars. They are very challenging to set-up properly and drive Fast!

How do you feel about the new tracks the NWWS are going to?
It's great. I love the variety. Now we aren't just a short track series.

Do you personally prefer driving a short track, a road course or a super-speedway?
I like each type for the unique challenges they offer.

What is your all time favorite track and why?
Indianapolis Motor Speedway - It was my hometown track growing-up until I was 25 and moved to Calif. in the inaugural Brickyard in '94 I got to experience driving it.

What track do you find the most difficult to race and why?
Tucson - My temptation is to drive down low, but it is faster up high.

What would help grow the Winston West Series?
We need to attract 10-15 more full season teams. Those guys are out there (with budgets!) and are currently running SCCA Trans-Am, Sports Car, Toyota Atlantics and Indy Lights. If they saw Winston West as a way into Winston Cup, they would join us.

Where do you see the Winston West Series 5 years from now?
20 races per year, radials only, $250,000 minimum purses, 25 full-season teams, cars sponsored by Valvoline, Pennzoil, Pepsi, McDonalds, Die-Hard, ETC.

Do you ever see a day when it is possible for a driver to make a living running the Series?
Yes, See answer above.

Would you want to see more races added to the Winston West Series schedule? Why or why not?
I think we should be careful about adding races without eliminating others. Because many of our current teams are funded by the team owners businesses. We cannot expect them to shell out more $ to go to more races.

What are your plans for next year?
Run for the season championship and hope to go to the first oval NASCAR race in Motegi, Japan.####
