Awesome. I'm gaining excellent super-speedway experience.

Do you personally prefer the short tracks, road courses or super-speedways?
Super-speedways.

What is your all time favorite track and why?
Phoenix International Raceway - Very fast and competitive. I have always run well there.
Las Vegas Motor Speedway - 1st super-speedway win - June 7/97.

What track do you find the most difficult and why?
Sears Point International Raceway - Lots of blind corners, very challenging, difficult to master.

What would help grow the Winston West Series?
TV. coverage, larger purses and factory support.

Where do you see the Winston West Series 5 years from now?
A successful independent series with an enhanced schedule. Larger purses and higher car counts.

Would you want to see more races added to the Winston West Schedule?
Yes, the schedule needs to be enlarged to make it possible for a driver to make a living at it.

What first sparked you interest in racing?
Watching my dad race.

What was the first race you ever entered?
1972 - 3 1/2-years-old - Go Kart race.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Spending time with my son, Mark.

My dad, Roy Smith. He is behind me 110%.
