DISABLED DRIVER SIGNS SPONSORSHIP WITH LABOR UNION

Jim Stevens a disabled driver in the Legends Cars series in Colorado has sign a one year sponsorship with a local labor union;The UFCW Local 7, (United Food and Commercial Workers). Jim said, "This is a great opportunity to promote local and national labor issues, via the motorsport venues. This has not been done locally before, he said. I see this a super begining to inform the racing community to what a great labor union is about".

Jim is one of a very few wheelchair bound driver in the country who participate in a weekly racing series which could lead to a national points championship. Jim had finished third in the Colorado State Points last season. He has also raced at LVMS BullRing, Dodge City Raceway Park, in Kansas and the three tracks in Colorado and Wyoming.
