OAKLAND, Calif. (March 26th) - The three MUD-Racing.net SRL Drivers ready to hit the track again one week after opening the season at Altamont Raceway. This week they are going to tackle the high banks of Stockton 99 Speedway. The race is scheduled for Sunday, March 30th on Stockton's 1/4 oval.

Leading the way is Chris Wadsworth from Oakley, California. Coming off his Top Five finish at the SRL Wild West Late Model Shootout season opener, Chris is now returning to another familiar track. He ran in the Late Model Sportsman division at Stockton in 2001, and has since proved to be a threat to win at the track. So, watch for the #10 Buzz Inn Restraunt Chevrolet Monte Carlo to be near the front of the pack racing for the lead for the 2nd week in a row.

Last Saturday was Mike Simpson's SRL debut, and the 1st race on his #5 Simpson Construction Pontiac Grand Prix. The SRL rookie, from Citrus Heights, California not only won the B Main, but also scored a top 10 finish in the Feature. Many people only know of Mike's Altamont sucess, but he has proved he can be competitive at other tracks such as All American Speedway and other smaller tracks. So, we will see if Mike Simpson can put this experience towards a good run during Sunday's race at Stockon 99.

The Tracy, California driver Rick Ruzbarsky was battling for the lead right out of the box during Saturday's race. But he ran into problems early, and ended up battling with his car instead of fighting for the win. Rick, and his crew will regroup and head to Stockton to try and put the #51 Alfred Mathews/Ken's Tire Service/Gil's Auto Body Pontiac Grand Prix back into the running for the 2003 Championship.####
