MONROE, Wash. (March 29, 2003) Jeff Jefferson of Naches, Wash. knocked his brother Jason off the Bud Pole with a quick lap of 22.860/101.732mph to win the first Bud Pole Award of the year for the NASCAR Elite Division, Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series. Jefferson will lead the field of twenty-six Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series competitors to green flag in the 19th annual Big O Tires season opening event at Evergren Speedway in Monroe, Wash.

Other notables qualifiers inlclude Jason Jefferson(2nd), Garrett Evans (13th), and Pete Harding (10th).
