 EL CAJON, California -- Craig Raudman collected the Bud Pole Award
for the NASCAR Elite Division, Featherlite Southwest Series at Cajon
Speedway Saturday afternoon. Raudman toured the 3/8-mile track with a time
of 16.149 seconds/83.597 mph. Following Raudman in qualifying were Frank
Deiny Jr., Brandon Whitt, Steve Belletto, and Eddy McKean.
The top seventeen qualifiers made the show on time with five drivers making
it in with a provisional. Those drivers included Jim Pettit II, David
Gilliland, Mike Ledbetter, Scott Busby, and Bryan Germone. Two drivers will
make the COORS Light "125" via the 20-lap non-qualifiers race which is
scheduled to take the green flag at 7:30 pm PST.
