SAFETY >> TOO MUCH OR NOT ENOUGH?

Take a moment and look at this photo. Is there anything wrong with NASCAR’s current crackdown on safety requirements?

This car took a hard hit and yet the driver was not only able to walk away, but was able to jump in his back up and continue on.

Now, you cannot really see the full picture from this angle, but what if the car had not bounced off the wall, or what if it ricocheted like a ball on the pool table, or what if a car was entering to practice and this car was pushed up into those two gentlemen relaxing up against the wall there?

Should they be wearing helmets?
