WARD WINS AT HOT

Mark McDaniel from Elm Mott won his first SIMS/ULMA limited modified feature with Roy Ewing of Moody on his heels. Shannon Dulock from Waco took third.

Keith Green from Robinson changed an engine between his heat race and feature and picked up the IMCA modified winner's trophy for his efforts. Chase Glick from Buffalo closely tailed Green with Paul Hanusch from Temple rounding out the top three.

Kenny Weir from Lott moved to the I-stock class this season and reached the finish line ahead of Chad Estes from Troy and Tim Ezell from Buffalo.

Last year's street stock champion, Mark Geurin from Whitney, won the feature race in that class. Tommy Kirkpatrick from West and Doug Andrews from Waco were second and third.

Jeremy Oliver from Robinson won a three car battle and the mini stock feature over Jason Hoffman from Killeen and Shad Stevens from Troy.

Michael Haisler from Elm Mott returned to Victory Lane in the cruiser feature. Waco drivers Michael George and Chad Barber ran second and third.

Brandon Hood from McGregor claimed the top spot in the junior mini stock feature. Kevin Green from Robinson raced to second, and Dillon Smith from China Spring won third.

Sprint cars will be running next Friday, May 16, along with IMCA modifieds, I-stocks, SIMS/ULMA limited modifieds, street stocks, pure stocks, cruisers, and junior mini stocks, Races start at 8:00 P.M.
