MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- The USAR Hooters ProCup Series will make its lone stop to the Empire State of New York when Holland International Speedway hosts the Hooters ProCup 250 presented by Sunoco on Saturday, May 24th. The historic short track located south of Buffalo has hosted some of the most competitive races for the Northern Division drivers in the Series.

In 2001 Sean Studer won from the pole position and last season Jeff Agnew outdistanced Danny Sammons for the win in the 150-lap race. Last year the race was a non-televised event and was shortened to 150 laps. This season the Hooters ProCup 250 presented by Sunoco will return to the 250-lap distance common with most Hooters ProCup Series events.

Brian Ross opened the Northern Division schedule with his sixth win of his career in the Series and will look to improve on his third-place finish from last year. Dale Evonsion finished a career-best fourth at the track and could collect his first career win at the track.

The Northern Division has featured a different winner in each of its first three races in 2003 and Holland could provide yet another new winner. Jay Fogleman wrestled his way to a win a Lonesome Pine Raceway and Eric Corbett picked up his first-ever Hooters ProCup Series at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway.

Charlie Ford could be listed as the sentimental favorite to get his first career win in the Series. Ford, a veteran short-track driver from Virginia, is the lone driver pre-entered for the race that has collected top10 finishes in each of the first two USAR Hooters ProCup Series races held at the track.

Ford, who finished 4th in 2001 and 6th last year could be the first driver in the Series to win a race driving a Dodge Intrepid. Ford will be one of over 30 drivers expected to participate in the Hooters ProCup 250 presented by Sunoco at Holland International Speedway.####
