CARSON CITY, Nevada -- This Saturday night at the Champion Motor Speedway, it’s the return of the “Freakin’ Figure 8 Races” presented by “Valley Towing”.
This exciting evening of criss-cross mayhem also features the lightning-fast Charter Super LateModels, Limited LateModels, Les Schwab Street Stocks, the Legends, the Hustlin’ Hornets, and them Blazin’ Bandoleros.
Also in action will be the “FastFour TrophyDash” series.
Fun Jumpers’ Earnhardt Memorial Park will present the bounce house pavilion, and the Ponderosa Stamp & Engraving kids bicycle races at 6:30pm.
This weeks special Kids Klub attraction will be the long awaited "EconoBox Nite". All kids will need to bring their racing boxes for a special "how to build" an EconoBox Racer seminar.
Showing this weekend at all five “Thunder Theater” locations will be either LIVE NASCAR Busch series racing from the Nashville Super Speedway - or IRL action from Texas Motor Speedway.
Beginning this week the fans in the stands can decide which race gets shown live. Simply log on at www.ChampionMotorSpeedway.com and cast your vote. As of Wednesday June 4, the NASCAR race was holding a slight 55% to 45% advantage over the IRL race, so voting should go right down to the wire.
The pits open @ 3pm, front gates open @ 5pm, and the show starts @ 7PM. Adults are only $9.00, Seniors (55 and over) and Military (with photo ID) are only $7.00, Teens (18 to13) are $5.00, Juniors (12 to 6) are $3.00 and Kids (5 & under) are free. Event parking is also free.
