ELM MOTT-Mark Geurin from Whitney continued a hot streak with his third straight street stock feature Friday night at the Heart O' Texas Speedway. Ed Thompson of Waco was second and Charlie Goodnight from Hallsburg ran third.
Chase Glick from Buffalo beat Hardy Henderson from Round Rock and Keith Green from Robinson to the checkered flag in the IMCA modified feature.
Mike Greer made the longest trip to the races Friday night from Garrison in deep East Texas and ended the trip in Victory Lane after the I-stock feature. Shannon Parson from Golinda and Benji Kirkpatrick from Elm Mott followed in second and third.
Bennie Everhart from Red Oak took the SIMS/ULMA limited modified feature win. Ritchie Robins from Lorena picked up second and Sid Kiphen from Gatesville, third.
Bill Waller from Euless reached the checkered flag first in the IMCA sprint feature ahead of Donald Schoeck from Donald Schoeck from Kempner and Brad Welborn from Allen.
Michael Robertson from McGregor topped the pure stock field with the feature win. Brandon Ward from Whitney and Timmy Kemp from Bellmead rounded out the top three.
Michael Haisler earned another winner's trophy in the cruiser feature. Chad Barber and Michael George both from Waco followed.
Robinson native Kevin Green claimed the top prize in the junior mini stock feature from Brandon Hood of McGregor and Dillon Smith from China Spring.
Next weekend, the Speedway will turn the track over to the three day Monster Truck Jam on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. A special Fan Appreciation Night on Sunday with discount admission and concession prices will give fans a taste of local race action in IMCA modified, I-stock, and SIMS/ULMA limited modified classes. Racing on Sunday will begin at 7:00 P.M.
