(Batesville, AR) Wendell Wallace Autosports is set to compete in the upcoming MARS-sanctioned events at the Outlaw Motor Speedway in Muskogee, OK on Friday night and the Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK the following night. Both MARS events in Oklahoma will pay the winner $3,000 for their efforts.
Wendell was able to capture one of the three MARS-sanctioned shows last weekend when he claimed the checkers in the make-up feature at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, AR last Saturday night. The J&J Steel / MSE Distributing #88 GRT / Keith Craft Ford Taurus was able to advance from his fourth row starting spot to claim the $3,000 win early in the evening at Little Rock. Wendell started on the front row for the regular $3,000 show, but could only muster a fourth place run when the checkered flag flew.
The previous night, the #88 team was at Batesville Speedway in Batesville, AR for another $3,000 to win show. Wendell started third in the main event, but could not hit the feature setup and settled for a sixth place run. All in all, the whole team was pleased to record three Top Six runs last weekend.
