BIG NEWS FOR STREET STOCKS IN THE NORTHWEST

Evergreen Speedway, Spanaway Speedway and Port Angeles Speedways are excited to announce a three race partnership for their year ending Street Stock Bomber Open Competition Events, with a combined purse of over $12,000.00 plus contingency awards.

For the first time ever in the Northwest, all three tracks will get together with common set of rules and a points fund that will be awarded to the top twenty drivers who have competed in all three events. Each 100 lap A-Main will pay $1,000.00 to win. The series kicks off at Evergreen on the 3/8s on Saturday, September 20th and Sunday September 21st, next is Spanaway Speedways fast ¼ mile on Friday September 26th and Saturday, September 27th and the final of the three race series is at Port Angeles on Saturday October 11th and Sunday October 12th.

All three events will have qualifying, heat races and preliminary events on the first day with trophy dashes and A and B Main events on the second day.

Entry fee for each of the three events will be $50.00 pre-entry, $60.00 post entry. Contingency and bonus awards will be released in the next couple of weeks.

RULES

  1. Any 1960-2001 Steel Bodied American Passenger Car with the minimum wheelbase of 101. Must have complete roll cage with door bars. Standard Safety rules apply. Drivers suits required

  2. Stock frame cars only, no fabricated front or rear clips, must retain stock front firewall.

  3. Stock OEM suspension in stock mounting points for make, model and year, stock OEM upper and lower control arms, no coilovers, no weight jacks. Minimum 5 coil springs.

  4. Tires and wheels: Maximum 8 steel wheels, no homemade wheels. Goodyear 2562 and 2563, WWRA and WVSO Diamondbacks and Spanaway Street Stock.

    7 ½ NuTread treaded and the 7 ½ NuTread slick.

  5. Engine:

    Stock OEM Cast Iron Block and Heads. No angle plugheads, no porting or polishing. Conventional style headers allowed, no crossovers or 180 degree headers. Maximum 1-4 barrel carburetor.

    Mufflers required. Evergreen 92DBA @ 75, Spanaway and Port Angeles 95 DBA @ 100
