Twenty-two year old Auggie Vidovich Jr. from Lakeside, CA, will return to Irwindale Speedway August 30th., seeking to extend his lead in the Nascar Elite Division Featherlite Southwest Touring Series championship points chase. Auggie, no stranger to success, has finished 2ND in overall series points twice during his Featherlite Southwest Touring Series three year racing career.
When asked about his return to the 1/2 mile track at Irwindale Speedway, Auggie commented, "We have been practicing well and are running strong. Our team is looking forward to an exciting race here Saturday night for all our fans and sponsors who have supported us at Irwindale Speedway".
When asked about the up-coming Toyota All-Star Showdown at Irwindale Speedway November 6 & 7, 2003, " It is going to be awesome," This type of event is a really big deal and something beyond the championship that I can look forward to.
