FLASH QUOTES -
Johnny Benson (#50): "I learned that this track does change. It goes good, bad, good, bad... You have to keep chasing it. The testing here helped' me in qualifying but it didn't help me in the long runs. Schrader talked me into racing in this series. I'm a rookie and I was pretty impressed with the drivers. Incidents happen. They'll happen tomorrow. I've got a little more experience. It wasn't the horsepower. We were good through the comers. I was worried about the restart and getting beat. I used an engine that's three years old. I knew when I beat them through turn one that I'd be in good shape. Schrader is a great competitor anywhere we run. Schrader bought one of our cars out of our shop. We got good pit practice here. I'd like to do the same thing in the cup. It would be a great day when it happens."
Ken Schrader (#55): "There is a big difference between Winston West and Winston Cup. I really enjoy Winston West. Guys in the West are getting better and better every year. I fought loose and didn't tighten it up all day. I have to hand it to Benson. We just missed. Benson played the whole race well. He was the class in the last 10."
Brendan Gaughan (#16): "Benson and Schrader gave me a driving clinic today. I made a mistake by mis-shifting. I tried to get by them and I couldn't pass them. The NAPA team gave me a great car."

DRIVER UPDATES: Craig Raudman (#2) and Mike Grady (#52) were sent to Loma Linda Medical Center for precautionary X-rays. Grady was awake and alert.####
