The 2003 / 2004 Speed Truck Challenge rookie class is shaping up.
The Speed Truck Challenge has announced a new purse payout for 2004 with a $1200.00 first place check for each race and over $100,000.00 being paid to the drivers including a new $30,000.00 Drivers Point Fund for 2004.
The series has traveled the Southwestern United States since 1997 and will continue to do so but will concentrate its 18 race schedule next year at Irwindale Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Mesa Marin Raceway and will have a couple of Orange Show Speedway and Lucas Oil I-10 Speedway appearances as well.
The future looks bright for the Speed Truck Challenge. November 5th at the “Bullring” will see Michael Waltrip, Sterling Marlin, Jimmy Spencer and Kenny Wallace in a 20 lap exhibition race in the Speed Trucks. The 99 lap feature will follow. SEMA / AAPEX shows will be the best ever and well represented by the Speed Truck Challenge in the world’s largest automotive trade show and in front of the largest field of automotive aftermarket executives.
