LAKEVILLE, Minnesota -- Joey Miller and his Country Joe Racing Team of Lakeville, MN will compete in the Southwest tour race this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway. The 18 year old has been running his #15 Great Clips Monte Carlo on a limited schedule made up of races from the ASA series and Nascar Elite series. Joey has top ten finishes in 3 of the 4 Nascar tour races he has run this year, with the best finish being 3rd at the 1.5 mile Kentucky Speedway in June. He also started on the pole at the Pikes Peak event in July.
Country Joe Racing is lead by 2002 ASA Champion Crew Chief Bond Suss. Suss Says: "This is a great race and a great race track for Joey to run. Our goal this season was to get Joey experience at many different tracks. The crew is really excited about coming out here for the race."
