JEROME, Idaho -- 2002 NASCAR Elite Division, Featherlite Southwest Series champion Eddy McKean from Jerome, Idaho will partner with Bob Molner and his Wide World of Maps company for the upcoming Featherlite Southwest Series race at Phoenix Int'l Raceway this weekend.
"I'm really excited to put Wide World of Maps on my car," said McKean. "Bob Molner has been a fixture around this series for a long time and with his help maybe we can win here at Phoenix."
McKean currently sits in the sixth position in the overall point standings, just 10 point out of fifth place as the series enters the final three events for 2003. McKean has three runner-up finishes in the past for Featherlite Southwest Series races held at Phoenix.
The NASCAR Elite Division Featherlite Southwest Series Phoenixraceway.com "100" will take place at Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday, October 5 and be televised on Fox Sports Net on October 13th thru 19th. Check your local listings.
