2003-2004 WINTER BLAST RESUMES WRA VINTAGE MIDGETS AND SPRINT CARS FEATURED

BLYTHE, California -- The staff at the Lucas Oil I-10 Speedway would like to welcome drivers, crews, and race fans back for the second half of the 2003-2004 WINTER BLAST. We hope that everyone had an enjoyable holiday and is ready to hit the track.

The second half of the 2003-2004 Winter blast kicks off with the Daytona 500 Blast, sponsored by D&L Auto Parts and Inland Builders Supply, Inc. The Daytona 500 Blast will feature WRA Vintage Midgets and Sprint cars. This is a MUST SEE for anyone who enjoys racing history and tradition.

The Lucas Oil LATE MODELS will be racing for double points, which will definitely add to the competitive spirit and significantly affect the point standings. The evening will be topped off with main events featuring the PONY STOCKS and Sunoco Fuel PURE STOCKS. The gates for general admission will open at 4:00 PM. An autograph and photo session will take place on the track from 5:15 PM - 5:45 PM with the first race scheduled for 6:00 PM

A Test-and-Tune is scheduled for February 7 and is open to all divisions. The Pit Gate will open at 10:00 AM and with Test-and Tune sessions available from 12:00 noon – 4:00 PM.
