MIKE BOAT TO DRIVE MIDGLEY’S #09 IN NASCAR RACE

Boat’s attempt to break into the NASCAR circuit began back in January, when Dick Midgley, of Dick Midgley Motorsports, tested Mike for a ride in one of his back up cars. After seeing him drive during the test, however, Midgley decided he wanted Mike in his primary car. Boat will be sponsored by his brother, former IRL driver Billy Boat, the owner of Billy Boat Performance Exhaust. Based in Phoenix Arizona, he is enjoying the opportunity to support his brother while promoting his company, which designs and manufactures exhaust systems, at the same time. Says Billy, “I know what Mike is capable of and I also want to see the value in an affiliation with the NASCAR circuit. We’re all looking forward to it.”
