MONROE, Washington -- Saturday night April 24 the NASCAR ‘Five Star” program returns to Evergreen Speedway’s 3/8-mile oval and figure eight. The NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series Super Stocks, Randy’s Ring and Pinion NASCAR Street Stock Bombers, NASCAR Mini-Stocks, Extreme Contact Figure Eights, Hertz Hornets and Auto Bowling will keep even the most timid fan on the edge of their seats.
Super Stock driver John Zaretzke will be attempting to break the track record for the third time this season. John has ruled over the series by winning the first two main events of the season.
Last seasons Champion Tom Moriarity will be looking to get to the podium as the winner of the 50-lap feature. Others that are expected to challenge for this weeks win are Matt Murphy, Shane Harding, Roger Habich and Gaylon Stewart who returned to action last week after a two year hiatus.
Randy’s Ring and Pinion NASCAR Bomber ace Naima Lang will be trying to follow last weeks clean sweep. Darin Stordahl and Travis Blackwood will test Lang. The Bomber class has been growing each week with two mains last week.
The NASCAR Mini-Stocks return after a week off. Steve Green opening week winner knows he will have to be at his best to hold off the many challengers.
The popular bump to pass Extreme Contact Figure Eights are back in action after enjoying a rare weekend off.
Over 70 Hertz Equipment Rental Hornets will fill the track with constant action..
If that is not enough for the race fan there will be Auto Bowling using cars to knock down the large pins.
The heats are scheduled for 5pm and the main events get going at 7pm. Adults $12.50 – Jr(12-18)/Sr(62+) & Military $8.50 – Children (6-12) $4.50 – Under 6 Free – Family Pass (2-Adults & 2-4 Children) $33.00.
