BAKERSFIELD, California -- Saturday night, in the All State Leasing #50 ASA Speedtruck Dodge Dakota, Kevin Fedderson gets his first win after 18 races. The #50 truck struggled in the first practice session, which was then cut short. “The bolt holding the water neck stripped out of the intake, but my crew chief Ruben Munoz did an awesome job getting the truck fixed so we were able to get out for the second practice session,” said Kevin Fedderson.
The #50 All State Leasing ASA Speedtruck qualified second with a 20.62. Lee Hatch qualified at a 20.60 who rolled a 5. Kevin started off pole in the trophy dash and ended up finishing second to Lee Hatch.
The #50 All State Leasing ASA Speedtruck started outside second row. Kevin had to fight his way threw to the front and stretched out the lead on #91 Lee Hatch. Kevin ended up leading 40 out of the 50 laps. “The whole crew was praying for no yellow flags,” said Katy Underwood.
“The first race of the season at Las Vegas we struggled and finished 7th. The second race at Mesa we qualified 1st and finished 3rd. The third race at Irwindale we qualified 3rd and finished 3rd. We had a whole change of personnel but my crew chief Ruben took control of this team and has turned this #50 All State Leasing ASA Speedtruck team around,” said Kevin Fedderson. “ I would like to thank my dad for all his support, All State Leasing, my crew chief Ruben, his girlfriend Katy, my friend Bones, my girlfriend Kelsey and Randy for all their help.
