SCOTT LYNCH LOOKS TO SCORE ANOTHER TOP FINISH

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Ready to put his 08 Yerf-Dog/Orleans Dodge in the spotlight once again, Scott Lynch heads to Stockton (Calif.) 99 Speedway for the Havoline/NAPA Auto Parts 150, Round 4 of the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series.

Currently ranked in 5th place in the championship battle, just 39 points out of the lead, Lynch is definitely ready to take another leap forward. "We moved up considerably in the last two races," says the Burley, Idaho native. "Now we want to do it again. Consistency is the way to winning the Championship and that is one of the things Orleans Racing is known for.

This race will mark the second time Lynch has competed at Stockton 99 Speedway. "Last year, we spun and hit the wall," explains Lynch, who still managed to pull out a top ten finish. "This time out, we are hoping for a much better scenario. This is the smallest track we race on all year, a quarter mile, and as such, one of the major keys is being able to save your equipment. Keeping the fenders on and not roughing up the nose is really important if you want to be up in front at the end. The racing is going to be incredibly tight, as well as action-packed and track position will be all-important. Our game plan is to try to qualify up top and get to the front as soon as possible. I know we have a strong Yerf-Dog Dodge, an incredible crew and a great Kroyer Racing motor. All totaled, we are definitely good to go. So far Dodge has been in Victory Lane more than any other manufacturer and I would like nothing more than to increase their domination and put Yerf-Dog on the Podium in first place."

In addition to gaining valuable points, the Championship standings will have added emphasis at this race. A combined $50,000 in prize money will be paid out through the first portion of the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series Leader Bonus Program to the top 15 drivers in the standings follow this event.

"This is going to be a great race for the fans," sums up Lynch. "There are a lot of really good driver's in this year's series, all of whom are capable of winning on any given day. But I thrive on competition and that's what makes the racing exciting. Fans will see a lot of banging and bumping on this track, but only one of us will emerge as the winner. While there is no way to predict the outcome, I definitely will be ready to go for the victory."####
