BMR GOES NEXTEL CUP RACING

ROCKLIN, California -- Bill McAnally Racing with driver Austin Cameron will be heading to Infineon Speedway in Sonoma, California for the “Dodge/Save Mart 350”. Cameron will be piloting the #61 McMillin Homes/NAPA Auto Care Chevrolet.

“We’re excited about our return to Infineon in the Nextel Cup Series,” said team owner Bill McAnally. “Austin qualified and ran here in 2002. Unfortunately we suffered with mechanical problems. We look to rectify that this time around. For this event, we will be running with RCR horsepower. Richard Childress Racing has been working with BMR this season and has provided both a test and a race engine. RCR was with us earlier this month when we tested. RCR has given us technical and mechanical support along with valuable experience and knowledge. With all of that in place, we feel confident that we will make the show. It all comes down to just one lap.”

“We also have a new partner this event. McMillan Homes and also NAPA Auto Care will be on the #61 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. NAPA Auto Parts will be having hospitality at the track in turn two. We look forward to visiting with all our sponsors on Sunday morning at hospitality. We want to thank all of our sponsors for their continued support.”

The BMR pit crew has been working hard and will have the opportunity to warm up by servicing the #0 NASCAR Elite Division Southwest Tour car of Jim Inglebright on Saturday as Inglebright goes for his fourth win at Infineon Speedway in the series.

The NASCAR Nextel Cup Series “Dodge/Save Mart 350” will take place on Sunday June 27 at Infineon Raceway. The race will be televised on FOX at 4 pm EST and can be heard on MRN radio beginning at 3:15 pm EST.

The next race for Bill McAnally Racing in the NASCAR Grand National West Series will be on July 17th at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington. For more information on Bill McAnally Racing, please consult our website at www.billmcanallyracing.com.####
