BAKERSFIELD, California -- Ron Nava and the All American Motor Sports team finished in the top five this last weekend at Mesa Marin Raceway. With the event to be aired nationally on "the Outdoor Channel" and new sponsors on board this team has stepped up their program. " Our focus has been on our qualifying effort, as we pick time there our race times also pick up" . Team manager Tom Lawrence also went on to say that Nava has been practicing in both the truck and go karts weekly to keep in shape.
The Lawrence Building and Design,Hog Performance Chevrolet S-10 qualified 7th of the 23 truck field and on lap 3 moved up to 6th and after a late race mechanical problem for the 50 truck, Nava slipped into the 5th position. On the final lap the 2nd thru 5th place trucks were nose to tail putting on a great show for 9,000 fans in attendance. " I cant thank my crew enough for putting together a great truck. With our new sponsors on board and another top five we have some momentum going and hope to build on that for the next few races" Says Nava. " We are very excited about the Television deal put together by Jay Rutherford. This opens new doors for everyone involved".
Nava and the All American Motor Sports team plan to compete at Irwindale Speedway on July 10th with the Hog Performance Chevy S-10
