Among several visits to the West Series, Michael Waltrip won the inaugural race at Pikes Peak International Raceway in 1997. Another visitor to victory lane was Ricky Craven, who won at Fontana in 1999. Greg Biffle, Kurt Busch and P.J. Jones raced in the West Series early in their careers, meanwhile.

  • Like father, like son .
