MONROE, Washington - Austin Cameron scored his second consecutive NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series victory by winning the Coors Light 200 at Evergreen Speedway on Saturday night.
Cameron took advantage of an early pit stop to gain the lead on lap 123 and then held off challenges from Mike Duncan and Jeff Jefferson for his 10th career series win.
He crossed the finish line just ahead of Jefferson, who had dogged him through the final 10 laps. Duncan, who appeared to have the dominant car through the mid stages of the race, had to battle from behind after pitting on lap 123. After chasing down Cameron, he faded in the closing stages.
Kerry Earnhardt finished fourth in his series debut, while Scott Gaylord finished fifth.
Duncan's third-place finish was enough for him to maintain the lead in the championship standings, while Cameron moved to second in the point standings.
