MONROE, Washington -- NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series Super Stock point leader John Zaretzke will have added competition in Saturday’s July 31 twin fifty lap mains. Eight time track champion and defending champion of the Super Stock Division, Tom Moriarity will return. The Randy’s Ring & Pinion NASCAR Street Stock Bombers, three Figure Eight Divisions and Hertz Equipment Rental Hornets round out a full night of racing.

Moriarity has a one night deal to drive Matt Murphy’s #00. If Moriarity is successful in the twin 50-lap mains, both worth full points, he could rise to second in points where he was prior to his retirement and selling his car. Current point leader John Zaretzke has struggled in the last two events with a DNF and a third. John started the season by winning 4 of 5 races and now is at 5 of 9. Last week’s winner Gaylon Stewart will be trying to string some wins together. Other season winners Shane Harding, Lex Johnson and Roger Habich will use the two mains to make a run at a repeat visit to victory stage.

Naima Lang the point leader for the Randy’s Ring & Pinion NASCAR Street Stock Bombers will be looking to get back on track for the Division Championship. Naima enjoyed a large point lead but Jim Foti has been nipping away and has closed to within 13-points.

With the addition of the new Stinger Eight Division there are now three divisions racing on Evergreen Speedway’s Figure Eight Track. The already crowd favorite 4-cylinder off shoot of the Hertz Hornets has increased its car count steadily. The Super and Extreme Contact Figure Eights will continue their respective title runs.

Cars and more cars is what the attending race fan is confronted with when the Hertz Hornets are part of the race program. The largest division at Evergreen Speedway the last two seasons will make the 1/5-mile a busy place on Saturday night.

Back Gates now open at 2:30pm followed by practice, qualifying, heats and mains. Heats start at 5pm and the mains start at 7pm. Adults $12.50; Jr/Sr & Military $8.50; Children $4.50; Under 6 Free and Family passes for 2-Adults and up to 4-Children $33.00.####
