As he took his No. 16 Chevrolet out for his qualifying run it was apparent it was going to be a good one, good enough for the pole and the best seat in the house for tomorrow's GRAINGER INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY 200 Presented by TCI Digital Cable. The race to be held at the Portland Speedway is the 9th of 14 races this season for the NASCAR Winston West Series.
Starting second tomorrow will be Gary Smith, followed by Dan Obrist, Kevin Richards and Mike Chase.
