BAKERSFIELD, California -- NASCAR Grand National West Series veteran Jeff Davis returned to competition with a strong run in the July 31st event at Irwindale Speedway. The Anaheim, California native piloted the #4 Rich-Pak, Royal Purple Pontiac to a 12th place finish after taking the green flag in the rear of the field.
"We found a broken shock after the final practice, so we had to start all over agian and qualified in the dark," said crewchief Greg Puskarich. "The track position really killed us. With only 150 laps, by the time Jeff started moving up through the field, the race was over. We had a better car than our 12th place finish, but all in all it was a good solid run."
The Puskarich Racing crew must now set their sights on the next stop in the series at the Stockton 99 Speedway on Saturday, August 14th.![]()
