ROCKLIN, California -- For a second time this season, Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) returns to the Stockton 99 Speedway. The race event is the ‘NAPA AUTO PARTS 200 presented by Havoline and will be run on August 14th. The #16 NAPA AUTO PARTS/NAPA Belts & Hose team look to continue their streak by adding a fourth consecutive win to their season. The BMR team has been in the Winner’s Circle their last two visits to speedway. Driver Austin Cameron and the NAPA team are currently only 15 points out of first in the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series Championship point standings.
Cameron and the #16 NAPA AUTO PARTS team brought the sellout crowd to their feet as they took over the lead with seven laps to go on their last visit. The #16 NAPA AUTO PARTS/NAPA Belts & Hose team gets great support with over 400 NAPA customers, store owners, and employees in attendance last Memorial Day weekend and this race will be no different. The NAPA team is ready for a repeat as they continue on their quest for a fourth series championship title.
Visiting the track for the first time and driving the #20 NAPA Belts & Hose/NASCAR Select by NAPA Filters Chevrolet is driver Kerry Earnhardt. The .25 mile short track has been often referred as the ‘Bristol of the West’ which is the kind of racing Earnhardt enjoys. Crew chief, Mario Isola and the #20 NAPA Belts & Hose team are prepared to move forward in the series point standings and are less than 60 points out of the top 20. BMR’s goal is to once again have two entries in the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown at the end of the season.
The ‘NAPA AUTO PARTS 200 presented by Havoline’ will take place on Saturday, August 14 at the Stockton 99 Speedway in Stockton, California. Grandstands will open at 2 pm. The race will broadcast on October 2nd on SPEED Channel. Check your local listings.
