FONTANA, California -- California Speedway today announced its fan hospitality "Party Zone" is sold out for Sunday, September 5th. Saturday's "Party Zone" is still available, as are grandstand tickets for Sunday's NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Pop Secret 500 and Saturday's NASCAR Busch Series Target House 300.
Drivers appearing on Saturday, September 4th, include NASCAR Busch Series competitors David Green, Stacy Compton, Robert Pressley and Kenny Wallace. The cost is $85, which includes a Saturday pit-pass. Gates open at 7:00 a.m., driver appearances will take place between 8:00-9:30 a.m. Part of the Sunday "Party Zone" sellout success was the impressive driver line up, including three-time California Speedway winner Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Casey Mears, Scott Wimmer, Scott Riggs, Kyle Busch and team owner Cal Wells.
Kasey Kahne and J.J. Yeley have already confirmed for an appearance during the February NASCAR weekend.
The speedway's "Party Zone" is the only place where guests are guaranteed the opportunity to mingle among NASCAR's elite. Exclusively for NASCAR ticket holders, this hospitality option features a single-day pit pass, food and beverage service, closed-circuit television, music, GameWorks games and a special souvenir gift for those in attendance. Guests can submit questions for the drivers to answer during this special Q & A appearance in the hospitality area.
In its second year of operation, "Party Zone" passes accompany grandstand tickets or infield RV wristbands to make a day at the races extra special. Beginning with the Inaugural "Finish Under the Lights" Pop Secret 500, the zone gets a new home within the infield, allowing close proximity to the pits, since a single-day pit pass is now included in each day purchased.
