CAMERON WINS NAPA 200 NASCAR WEST RACE

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah - Austin Cameron used a late-race pass to claim his fourth victory of the season in the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series - winning the NAPA 200 at Rocky Mountain Raceways on Monday night.

After running third for most of the 200-lap event, Cameron took advantage of lapped traffic as he charged to the front and passed Mike Duncan 21 laps from the finish. He then had to hold off a fierce challenge by Scott Lynch in the closing laps.

Mike David followed Cameron and Lynch across the finish line, as Duncan slipped to fourth at the finish. Series rookie David Gilliland was fifth.

With his win, Cameron closed Duncan's lead in the championship standings to just 58 points - 1,321 to 1,263. David's third-place finish propelled him to third in the standings with 1,191 points.
