
(THOUSAND OAKS, California) -- Mesa Marin Raceway and RacingWest.com have come together to present the NASCAR Late Model RacingWest.com 125 at Mesa Marin’s 27th annual October Classic.
The 125 lap event will be the richest Late Model race Mesa Marin has ever presented. The two-day race format will have the Late Model teams qualifying and running twin qualifiers on Saturday, October 16th sharing the night with the NASCAR AutoZone Southwest Series, then returning on Sunday afternoon with the NASCAR Grand National West Series for the NASCAR Late Model RacingWest.com 125.
Racers from all over the Southland, including drivers from Irwindale Speedway, Mesa Marin Raceway, Madera Speedway and Orange Show Speedway have entered the event for a shot at winning $3,000. Some of the confirmed entries include; Dan Digiamarino, Chris Hayes, Josh Horn, Brian Kelley, David Mayhew, Randy Reeves, Jameel Saied, Shawn Steele, Craig Yeaton, and Scott Youngren.
Looking for rides and hoping to compete in the event are several talented drivers, including champions from local tracks, NASCAR Autozone Southwest Elite Series and the NASCAR Grand National West Series. The list of drivers hoping to connect with a car owner includes; Kyle Cattanach, Darren Cheek, Rick Crow, Marlin Gill, Butch Gilliland, Brandon Loverock, Rip Michels, and Craig Raudman.
The NASCAR Late Model RacingWest.com 125 will run as part of Mesa Marin’s 27th annual October Classic which will also feature; the NASCAR Grand National West Series 150 presented by StarNursery.com, the NASCAR AutoZone Southwest Series “MotorCraft 150”, the West Coast Pro Trucks, Street Stocks, and the Cal Spas Supermoto Series.
