TIM WOODS III STILL HOPING FOR A BREAK

CHINO, California -- With a less then fruitful season, so far, for the T-III Motorsports team and Tim Woods III, optimism runs high in the barracks for the driver and the team of the Chino Hills Ford Taurus. With a slew of unfortunate instances so far, Woods is determined to bring glory and victory to the headquarters of T-III Motorsports. A re-newed sense of pride and encouragement has been added with this upcoming race in Phoenix.

“I like Phoenix,” stated Woods. “That is not to say that I play favorites with tracks. But I feel more at home at Phoenix. I have had strong runs at Phoenix before and all I can say is that I am looking to have better run at Phoenix this go around then I did earlier in the year.” Earlier in the year Woods finished 6th at Phoenix International Raceway.

To say the least, it has not been smooth sailing for T-III Motorsports for the past couple of races. From black outs at tracks to rain educed spins, Woods has seemingly held the brunt of star-crossed luck. There is no doubt in many peoples minds that Woods has the talent and ambition to drive to win races but the series of unlucky streaks is about to end with this upcoming race at Phoenix. Whether the break be with mother nature or the break be with racing gods, Woods is still hoping.

Crew chief Jason Roche said late Saturday afternoon, “We still are maintaining a high and positive approach as we continue to properly prepare, but I am just simply amazed at the strength and brevity of our unlucky circumstances. If we continue to take these so called road blocks in stride our team is sure to prove it’s worth on the race track within the remaining races of the year.”

It is noted from experience that bad luck happens in threes. The T-III Motorsports team has had their third bout with bad luck now, and now is the time and the race for Woods to shine and come out on top. Be prepared to see vigor and potent strength from Tim Woods III and the T-III Motorsports Chino Hills Ford Team this weekend at the “Subway 150” at Phoenix International Raceway.####
