Flexi Flyer Motorsports wants to congratulate the two drivers that became 2004 champions in the Modified division at their respective speedways in Arizona. Anthony Madrid took home the championship honors at Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix driving the Flexi Flyer house car under the Border Racing Association sanction. Racing on both the one third and the half mile track in 2004 the Pete Wright prepared car had 2 victories along with many top 5 and top 10 finishes. Madrid is currently running in the seventh position in the lucrative BRA national point standings. The national points take the top twenty finishes that a driver has accumulated during the season. The Flexi house car has nothing worse than a fifth place finish among its top twenty runs.
At the Thunder Raceway in Show Low Max Sadler secured the track championship in the Modified division with his Flexi Flyer car. Thunder also runs under the Border Racing Association banner. Sadler won the championship on the last Modified point race of the year by finishing second in the A-main event to another Flexi Flyer car driven by Richie Davis. The modified driver from northern Arizona won the driving title by being a picture of consistency throughout the 2004 campaign.
The Flexi Flyer car driven by Madrid will now prepare for many big modified races taking place throughout the southwest including the Modified Nationals at Manzanita Speedway and the $5000 to win Desert Classic at Canyon Raceway in Peoria AZ.![]()
