WOODS LOOKING FORWARD TO PIR RACE

With his team back to full strength and a new car to play with, Gene Woods is looking forward to this weekend’s running of the Subway 150 NASCAR Grand National West Series race at Phoenix International Raceway.

Woods did without crew chief Mike Fisk, suffering from kidney stones (ouch) in Oregon, but Fisk is back and ready to roll for PIR. Woods will also be taking the new Monster Energy Drinks/Circle K Food Stores Dodge Intrepid to Phoenix for the first time and Gene is anxious to see what the car can do there as this will be "The Beast’s" big track debut.

Woods is also hoping to gain some ground in the NASCAR West point’s standings as he currently sits in tenth place only 15 points behind Tim Woods III, 42 behind Carl Harr, and 89 behind Daryl Harr, a good finish could move him up several positions in the series standings.####
