PHOENIX, Arizona Expertly piloting his 08 Yerf-Dog/Orleans Dodge, Scott Lynch notched his second consecutive win this year at the Subway 150, Round 10 of the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series at Phoenix International Raceway, Sunday, October 3.

Not only did this victory mark Lynch's second win this season, but also gave him his second consecutive win at Phoenix International Raceway. "I couldn't be happier," smiled the Burley, Idaho native. "We started off with basically a new team six races ago and it took a few events to get everyone in sync. But, as is evidenced by the last two races, we are really clicking now and that's what it takes to win. This is very definitely a team sport. Winning at Phoenix is extra special as this is where our sponsor is headquartered and I am really pleased to be able to bring home this victory for them."

Qualifying in the Number 2 slot with a time of 28.454, Lynch powered off the Startline with determination. Taking over first place on Lap 20 when the leader slowed with a mechanical problem, Lynch battled back and forth for a time with Johnny Borneman. "I got loose off and he passed me," said Lynch. "Then he got loose and I passed him back. I had no intention if letting him get by me a second time."

Making a final pit stop under Yellow for four tires, fuel and an adjustment, Lynch got back on the track and took over the lead just after the restart. "Brett Thompson, who is also from Idaho, took over the lead when I pitted," said Lynch, "But I got past him after a couple of laps and managed to stay in front the rest of the race."

Taking his sixth career win by a margin of .440 of a second, at an average speed of 101.963 gave Lynch a stronger foothold in the points battle. "We are 141 points out of first place," he says. "And we are 47 points out of third. With four races left there is no way to predict the final outcome. It's not over until it is over. The only thing we know for sure is that we are going to be doing our very best to win every round."####
