Craig Yeaton, a regular at Irwindale Speedway, is no stranger to Victory Lane, but he has yet to meet the track at Mesa Marin.

He will be coming out this weekend to meet have a look at the track, watch the race and hopefully have a great time!

2000, Irwindale Speedway, 1968 Chevelle

Where did you race this season and what division:
Irwindale, Late Models, Super Stock, Figure 8 and Legends.

What was the highlight of your 2004 season?
Set a record for most main events in 1 night (5).

Are you entered in the RacingWest.com 125, if not will you be entering?
No, but I will be attending.

What do you expect to enjoy most at the Mesa Marin race?
The chance to see what all the fuss is about :!

What do you expect to be the biggest challenge to winning there?
Not getting run over in the first 100 laps!

Is this a track you have raced before?
No

What are your goals for next season?
I will compete for Rookie of the Year in Late Models next year. If you were to choose a driver you admire the most from any series who is that driver and why do you admire him/her so much? Andy Santere, Busch North Series

What one trait does that driver have that you would like to follow?
He is a great driver that also understands the "off track" side of the sport (marketing the team).

If you were granted the chance to have dinner with anyone in the world, from the past or present, who would that person be?
So many people so little time.

What are the best and worse things to happen to racing lately?
The answer to both…The Race for the Chase. Only time will tell which it actually turns out to be.

If you hadn't got into racing, how would you be spending your weekends?
Playing hockey!

What is the strangest thing that ever happened to you in a race?
On 2 separate occasions I have had wheel come off a competitor's car right in front of me… before the green flag dropped.

When you are kicking back in the rocker with your grandkids, what would you like to be remembered for?
I would like to be remembered as the guy that would race anything! Need for Speed!####
