Trouncing the competition at the recent Advance Auto Parts Monster Truck Thunder Drags in Indianapolis with their Hemi-powered Dodge Raminator earned Mark Hall and Hall Brothers Racing their third consecutive Special Event Performance title.
"This is just great and we couldn't be more pleased," smiled Hall. "We came into Round 17 tied for the lead. It was a make or break situation and luckily for us we emerged victorious. Taking the title three times in a row is awesome and now we plan to set our sights on taking the crown again next season,"
No newcomer to winning, Hall and Raminator have also earned two Monster Truck National titles and one in the Pro MT Series. "Having an extremely tough Dodge Truck and tremendous horsepower from our Dodge 565 cubic inch supercharged Hemi powerplant definitely have provided us with the necessary ingredients to be Number One," says Hall. "The other trick is to be consistent and that is our goal every time out. We don't just race to race, we race to win."
Competing in 17 Rounds, Hall and Raminator earned seven wins and three runner up finishes on their way to this year's title. In addition, Hall Brothers second Dodge Monster Truck, Rammunition, piloted by Dale Benear, ended the season in fifth place.
"We are extremely proud of Hall Brothers Racing and their accomplishments," says Dodge Truck Manager Scott Richter. "The Monster Truck arena is an excellent venue for us to show off the strength and durability of our pickup truck and the power of our Hemi Motor. The Hall Brothers do an incredible job for us and we are very pleased to have them associated with Dodge.
In addition to their many achievements on the race track, the Hall Brothers spend most of their non-competitive hours doing public appearances at Dodge Dealers across the country. "There are nearly 3000 dealerships," says Hall. "And, our goal is to visit each and everyone. We really like showing people our Monster Trucks and our success has given us quite a following. It is really fun to be able to meet so many of our fans and to be able to make new ones wherever we go."
