A MESSAGE FROM THE 2004 NWSST CHAMPIONNORTHWEST STREET STOCK TOUR
Source: NWSST Media Relations/Taylor
It is impossible to celebrate without congratulating my team. This championship season would not have been possible without the guidance and skills of my father/Crew Chief Martin Stanwood. Having a 2 time Portland Speedway Champion and a 3 time Mechanic of the Year in your corner can be a great advantage. Without my dads experience and knowledge I would not be at the skill level I am today. I also need to mention my Spotter/Tire Man/Data Manager Jim Brown. This season we stepped up our game tremendously by recording more information about the car and the tracks. Data collected in the beginning of the season turned into multiple wins towards the end of the season. Lastly I need to thank my #1 sponsor B&M Engine Service for the power plant that propelled me to the Championship! In 2005, I intend to move up to a Late Model Division. I also look forward to racing as many NWSST events that my schedule will allow. I encourage anyone in the northwest that owns or is interested is street stocks to join the Northwest Street Stock Tour. It is a great division to showcase your talents against some of the best drivers in the northwest! Good luck to all in 2005,
Brad Stanwood;
