TROPHY DASHES ARE BACK AT SOUTH SOUND SPEEDWAY BY KRISTY RUNYON

Brad Tanner leads the Late Model Super Stocks point standing with one win under his belt. Joe Constance is tied with Tom Sweatman for second. The pair are former NW tour drivers. Constance has two top five finishes while Sweatman has two wins. Jim Wilcox is in fourth with two top ten finishes and a dash win. Nick Behn, three time defending Champion, is fifth in points. Behn had a disappointing start to the season with a 20th place and 18th place finishes. He redeemed himself in the last race out with a 2nd.

Jim “Swanee” Swanson has made quite the comeback after taking some time of from racing. Swanson has a 3rd, 2nd and a 1st place in the three main events this season for the Top Notch Trailers Street Stocks and has the points lead by 14 over Jay Hopkins. Hopkins also has a win under his belt this season in the first race. Sitting third in points in the driving team of Mike Saylors and Nick Behn. Between the two of them, they have 2 top five finishes. Young Jordan McGregor is making great strides toward Rookie of the Year honors in fourth position. JJ Hamilton sits fifth in points with 2 top ten finishes.

Dan Walker leads the point standings for the Hinkle Homes Pure Stocks.

Walker has a win under his belt as well as two other top five finishes.

Bobby Moore, in second, also has three top five finishes and is looking hard for the win. Steve Woods has already gotten a win this season along with two other top ten finishes he sits third. Fourth is Mike Carlson. Carlson has two 7th place finishes along with a 2nd. Rounding out the top five is Scott Johnson. Johnson has two top five finishes and 7th place finish.

The Delta Camshaft Mini Stocks have five races under their belts so far this season. Jeff Bracale leads the point standings with one win and four other top five finishes. The driving team of Floyd and Michael Hayne are currently second in points. They have four top five finishes between them and Floyd even has a trophy dash win. Kevin Koepke sat atop the points earlier in the season but is now third. Koepke has two wins and one other top five finish. Tom Keehan, who set fast time last race, is fourth in points. Keehan has four top ten finishes. Todd VanDiest is the fifth place driver. VanDiest has five top tens which includes one top five.
