ROCKY NASH NAILS NASCAR SW TOUR WIN AT IRWINDALE

Rocky Nash dominated the Food4Less 150 at Irwindale Speedway leading the last 70 laps of the NASCAR Southwest Tour race. It was a first win for Nash. Mark Golembeski, car owner of the No. 88 Monte Carlo that Nash drove to the win had said before the race, "we really have two goals for 2000, to finish in the top five in points and to win our first Southwest Tour Race".

Following Nash to the stripe was Zach Niessner, a Northwest Tour regular. Reigning NASCAR Winston West champ, Sean Woodside took the third place on the podium. Leading multiple laps at both the start and and the middle of the race was points leader Matt Crafton. Rounding out the top-five was Keith Spangler.
