Fastest 17 cars through time trials with two provisional starting positions available to the top 20 drivers based on the current 2000 Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series point standings, two starting positions from the top two finishers in the non-qualifiers race, and one additional starting position for a former Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series champion who participated in as a driver in 1999 and did not qualify in one of the original 17 starting positions.

� Kaltschmidt holds a narrow four-point lead over three-time series champion Garrett Evans in the season title chase. Gary Lewis, the 1998 series champion is 101 points behind Evans.
� This is just the third visit for the series to the state of Montana.
� With his Bud Pole Award at Evergreen Speedway, Gary Lewis has caught Garrett Evans in the season long Bud Pole Award race. Each has four Bud Poles.

1999 IN REVIEW:
� Tom Sweatman grabbed the lead on the first lap from his second row starting position when front row drivers Wes Rhodes and Kevin Quesnell got together on the backstretch. >From there Sweatman dominated the rest of the race, holding off Marc Groskreutz and Joe Constance over the final laps, to claim his second Kalispell Raceway Park win in as many years.
