The Fall Classic! Coming this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday At Yakima Speedway!

Yakima, Wash. (September 24, 2006) ¡V Drivers from all over the state will be competing for three days at Yakima Speedway in the Hobby, Streets Stocks, Limited Late Model, and Late Models this coming weekend. Each year entrants from Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Canada, Washington, and even Alaska have been in this award winning non-point season final. On Monday the pre-entry list had over 65 participants registered. Drivers in the Late Model Division will be racing for a purse of a $12000.00 to win. This is the 19th running of this award-winning race and the fans will get to see a 200-lap event on Sunday. The big question is can last years winner Jeff Barkshire make it two in a row or will Apple Cup winner Travis Bennett be able to get that next win in this event? The exciting Street Stocks will also be taking the track for their 75 lap A main event on Sunday.

On Saturday qualifying will start at 12:00 and the Hobby Stocks will be running a 60 lap A main. The Limited Late Models will be taking the track with a 125-lap race. Plus on Saturday if the car counts are really high, B and C mains will determine who will compete in the A mains. Again the crowd will get to see this great double feature on the half-mile track and a Race Of Champions on Friday at 8:00 PM after the first session of qualifying at 5:30. The stands will be full, so come early to get the best seats.
